Of Counsel to Paulsen & Armitage, Dennis received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Colorado/Boulder Law School in 1977. While in law school, he served as editor of Law Review. Upon graduation, Dennis worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Boulder County. His practice focuses primarily on medical malpractice with additional experience in family law, personal injury and criminal defense.

Before law school, Dennis served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. While traveling abroad, Dennis developed a unique ability to simplifying otherwise complex and difficult issues. His practice focuses on objective-based options in representing his client's rights. Dennis is licensed in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association and the Colorado Bar Association. In his spare time, Dennis is the lead vocalist with the group Martian Acres.
