Scott Armitage graduated from the Denver University School of Law in 1994 and immediately started his own practice in October of that year. Prior to that, he acquired over 10 years of experience in real estate and title insurance law in his home state of Pennsylvania. Five years after graduating from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1986 with a Master of Arts in English, Scott enrolled at DU.
Scott has tried numerous cases to a jury and to the court. His first trials consisted primarily of misdemeanor criminal cases, breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes, and contested divorce and custody cases. He also tried cases as a public defender at the City of Westminster Municipal Court and then later was appointed as “special prosecutor” in certain cases there. Scott has since tried a number of personal injury cases along with some complex real estate and commercial transaction cases. He was lead counsel in two defective product actions against a foreign automobile manufacturer which were successfully settled just prior to trial.
Scott’s care and attention to all aspects of his clients’ cases are unmatched. He is sensitive to the financial and emotional costs legal issues impose upon his clients. His goal is to keep you informed on a continuing basis regarding the status of your case and to answer all of your questions quickly and decisively, so that the best possible results might be obtained.
Scott is married with two children. He enjoys family activities, volunteer work, fishing and golf.
